We have friends living in Utah and were able to connect for a fun-filled day exploring. We started the day driving to meet up for brunch in Springville at the Side Car Cafe.

Best cafe we have seen with its own motorcycle museum, which is free if you eat there.

We enjoyed our breakfasts, which were all really good, and afterward looked around in the bike museum. Wow, so many cool old bikes and memorabilia here. The exterior buildings are also intersting, with some fun photo ops to be had.

We all hopped into one vehcile and made our way to Young Living Lavendar Farm.

Unfortunately, in March, the lavender fields are not in bloom, but the rest of the ranch was beautiful to explore. We made a stop at the store first to look around, which offers lots of products to purchase as well as swag. We then explored the outside, stopping to see the Percheron horses. Wow, these horses are gorgeous and more hands high than I've ever seen.

Percherons in the United States generally stand between 16.2 and 17.3 hands (66 and 71 inches, 168 and 180 cm), with a range of 15–19 hands (60–76 inches, 152–193 cm). American Percherons average 1,900 pounds (860 kg), and their top weight is around 2,600 pounds (1,200 kg).

This would be a great place for families as there is so much to explore and do, and you could easily spend an entire day here having fun on the climbing wall, the water park, picnic area, old town, viewing and petting the horses and ponies, the jousting arena, and the events they hold from time to time in the larger arena. They have a seasonal cafe as well.

We left to make our way back to Side Car Cafe to drop off our friends at their SUV, but first, we grabbed an appy and beer at their other restaurant on site called Strap Tank Brewery https://www.straptankbrewery.com/, which was an equally tasty and interesting place.

We had a fabulous day exploring and enjoying the company of friends....thanks so much Becky and Brent for the home town tour!
