We had a short 2-night stay in Grants Pass. The KOA there was so lovely. It's like being in a little old ranch town nestled at the base of a beautiful hill, full of trees and nature all around, including wild turkeys strolling by. We had a stellar RV site tucked in beside the woods, and the RV sites are nicely spaced to allow privacy. We had full hookups, and there is a bathroom, general store, dog park, cabins, Yurt, a walking trail, and a waterfall on site. The only complaint about our stay was the Wi-Fi; I never could manage to get connected as the signal was too weak. https://koa.com/campgrounds/grants-pass/

With only one full day to enjoy the area, we hit the road, and about 10 km from our KOA is Grants Pass. We were recommended to see The Old Town part of Grants Pass. Online, there is a historic walking tour which we did, and it was fun to see all the murals, old buildings, and cute storefronts on G Street. https://www.grantspassoregon.gov/396/Historic-Downtown-Grants-Pass

There is also a glass shop that was fun to visit with eye-catching pieces. You can try your hand at making your own, or just watching the glass blowers at work was pretty cool too. Visit Glass Forge

If you do make it to G Street, you can't miss the smell of goodness coming from Sandies Candies & Fudgery, which lured me in. The caramel corn is ahhhhmazing!!!

If you're up for a walk, about 10 or 15 minutes away is Wild River Brewing. The beers and bites were tasty, and the service was great. https://www.wildriverbrewing.com/location/wild-river-brewing-pizza-company-grants-pass/ They have a few locations around the area; we went to the Grants Pass location.

There were so many more things to do if we had a longer stay. Visit Grants Pass - 50 Things to Do

Next stop... California!!
