Gateway Luxury RV Resort & Casitas- La Verkin Utah

We had two weeks booked here and extended our stay to three weeks due to mechanical issues as well as falling ill with the flu. The staff here were so great; they gave us a contact for a mobile RV tech and also checked in on us when we were sick, inquiring if we needed anything and if we did, just let them know. What hospitality!

The resort is super clean, and the RV spaces are huge, level, paved, and nicely manicured. It is situated close to amenities and just a block from the closest grocery store, and within a hop, skip, and a jump is a coffee shop with baked goods (River Rock Roasting Co). Try their scones... so good!

The washrooms, laundry, and pool/hot tub are all clean and well cared for. We enjoyed a BBQ put on by the resort with burgers and hotdogs, and it was free as they were promoting their new BBQ area.

I also noted this resort has handicap facilities, bathrooms/showers, and given it's all mostly paved areas, it would make it a very accessible resort to stay in. The resort felt safe and secure, located in a nice area and we noticed the police drove through at least once a day making rounds.

They have a couple pickle balls courts as well corn hole, so there are lots of ways to keep busy, and entertained in this resort.

If Zion National Park is on your bucket list, it is just a 20-minute drive from here. No RV? No problem, they also have the most cozy luxurious casitas you can rent. They would make a great spot to stay as well for passing through bikers, and you can soak your sore bones after a long ride in the hot tub or cool off in the pool on a hot day!

Fellow RV guests were wonderful. We met and made new friends Marty and Melissa and enjoyed some social time, exchanging travel stories, enjoying appies, bevies and good times together. Hope to connect with you again during our travels.

The resort is surrounded by views of hills, and we enjoyed some pretty spectacular sunsets during our stay.
